A Legacy of Italian-American Heritage
Founded in 1957, the Arizona American Italian Club has been a beacon of Italian heritage and culture in Arizona. From our humble beginnings at Riazzi's to our current location, we've fostered a community that honors our rich traditions while embracing the spirit of Arizonans and Americans.
Our club has evolved from a small gathering in a restaurant storeroom to a thriving hub of cultural and social activities. The club's history is a testament to the dedication of our founding fathers and the continuous support of our members.
Dedicated to Community and Culture
Led by President Richard Cantarella, VP Michael Mellaci, and a team of committed officers and trustees, our club thrives on strong leadership. Each member contributes to our mission, overseeing various aspects from events to charitable endeavors, ensuring a vibrant club life for all members.
Our officers and trustees are a mix of longstanding members and fresh faces, all united in their passion for Italian-American culture. They are responsible for guiding the club's activities, from organizing events to managing day-to-day operations.
Engage, Participate, Celebrate
Our club is alive with activities ranging from Bocce leagues to Bingo nights, each fostering community spirit. We're also proud of our charitable works, supporting local charities and being an active part of our wider community in Phoenix.
Involvement in the club offers a chance to connect with others who share a love for Italian culture, engage in fun activities, and give back through various charitable initiatives. Whether it's a game night, a cultural event, or a community service project, there's always something happening at the club.
